WP gives +100 to your intelligence and creativity
At 10:30 a.m. today I will begin moving Rambleicious to its new home at www.rambleicious.ca.
It will still be a WordPress weblog, but it will have a new design, different colours and much, much better writing (because a full WordPress installation gives you a +100 to your intelligence and creativity).
I will also post step by step instructions on how I did it in case any brave souls decide to follow me into the land of domain ownership.
See you in the new place!

I’m back! I think…
I finally got my professional site up and running! If you like reading about things related to technical writing, or want some tips on how to use software and stuff (or if you just really, really love me) head on over.
I’m glad it’s done – well, I’m glad it’s running. I’m hoping to evolve the look of it over time as I learn more PHP and CSS tricks. Now I can stop dreaming about PHP code chasing me through downtown Vancouver and start writing and reading more!
Now I am going to go give some love to the blogs I’ve been neglecting!

My brain is on vacation
I’ve been really lax about updating lately. I’ve been equally lax about reading all the blogs I normally love reading too.
Some of it has been work and desperately trying to cram all the CSS and PHP knowledge I can into my head so I can get my website up and running. That stuff takes up a lot of space!
Mostly though, I simply can’t think of anything worth writing. I could write a post whining about how I just don’t understand PHP, or how much I wish there were free WordPress Themes that I actually liked that actually worked properly or about my sudden fussy eating habits and weird dreams about witches.
Well, the dreams might make interesting posts, but otherwise it’s all blah blah blah, whine whine whine.
I look at the blank WYSIWYG in WordPress and all I can come up with is a resounding “Meh.”
Lately, the only thing I can muster any enthusiasm for is sleeping and reading the letters between Rilke and his lover/mentor/muse Lou Andreas-Salomè.
I promise I am feeling super-guilty about not reading my regular blogs – I still love you guys lots! I just need some time to get organized and get my brain back in gear.
